Can you help us at the Public Meetings this month?

The Mikvah Project is B’H moving along and now we need your help to help gain approval from the Village.

There are two public meetings scheduled at the village of Wesley Hills in the next month:

• Zoning Board on April 15th  (this date might change) @ 8pm
• Planning Board meeting on April 29th @ 7:30 pm

The Mikvah needs a strong show of support to help it pass in the village. We never know who might show up to oppose us and therefore we are asking of you the following:

1) Please send a letter of support for the Mikvah (see sample below- you can use the same or similar text) - and email it to us at info@wesleymikvah.org

2) If you can attend the meetings, that would be wonderful - we need people to come in a show of support, and

3) If you think you’d like to volunteer and speak at the meeting, please email us atinfo@wesleymikvah.org  - we’re looking for 3-5 speakers to help make our case.

Dear Distinguished Board Members:

I am writing in support of the Mikvah and urge you to please approve this project as soon as possible.

Our growing community needs this Mikvah for use on Friday nights and Jewish Holidays. 

We require a Mikvah within reasonable walking distance of our homes. At present, we need to walk an hour or more in the dark nighttime roads, a journey made even more treacherous and difficult during the long the winter months.

I therefore kindly request that you grant the approvals needed for this project to move forward quickly.
